Honing Next Level Hope through Coaching | Art | and Guided Events and Workshops
More about Me
I've been a coach since 2001 — working with leaders, artists, and coaches who are trying to make real change, not just plan for it. I trained with Integral Coaching Canada and taught coaches on three continents from 2008 to 2014. My credentials are ICF, Integral Coaching Canada, and Integrative Enneagram accredited.
I came to coaching from health planning and organizational development. I came back to painting the week of 9/11. Both have been ways of finding my footing ever since.
Hope became a focus when I noticed how reliably I — and the people I work with — build it, lose it, and have to find it again. Despite decades of yoga practice and a deep Christian faith, I know what it is to wake up heavy and helpless. When the war in Gaza began, I started listening to people whose cultures and homelands had been destroyed. They pointed toward something I hadn't found in easier places: a sustained, rooted hope that holds even when everything argues against it. That's the hope I'm interested in now.
In 2014 I claimed the word artist — a bigger leap than it sounds. Since then I've shown work through studio openings, local galleries, storefronts, and online. I've done several residencies, including one fully funded, one of which took me to the Burren in Ireland and changed the way I see.
I live in Ottawa. I paint, write poetry, coach, cycle, ski, and host guests from across the world through AirBNB. I'm a grandmother and a caregiving daughter, and both of those shape everything.
I'm grateful for the teachers who've marked me: Amrit Desai, Joanne Hunt, the late Laura Divine, Kim Rosen, and Sagewalker. And for Anglican roots that keep holding me.
