Honing Next Level Hope through Coaching | Art | Workshops
Hi. I am a Master certified coach (accredited ICF, Integral Coaching Canada, Integrative Enneagram), living a life that supports me and others to grow. I began my career as a health planner, eventually moving to consulting in organizational and community development. I trained as a coach to help people in organizations live into the changes they were making on paper in their plans. I took up art again the week of 9/11/01. Poetry and art give me a way to see through the mundane. I have been coaching leaders since 2001, and trained coaches on three continents with Integral Coaching Canada from 2008 - 2014.
Hope has become a focus as I witness myself and others building and finding hope, and then losing it again and again. Despite decades as a yoga practitioner, and being a prodical Christian in the last several years, I am not proud to say that I often find myself living with a heaviness and a sense of helplessness. This leads me to do nothing but worry. Then the Gaza/Israel war began. I began listening to people whose cultures and homelands had been wiped out: They pointed the way to what it takes to maintain a deep sustained hope, across time, even when everything points to annihilation. Since then, I've made Hope beyond Hope a focus for my work and my own development.
I divide my time between Ottawa Canada and Amman Jordan. Ottawa is the home of many loved ones and where I've spent much of my adult life. Amman is where The One I've always loved is based. We are finally, astonishingly, ready for each other, after 40 years apart. In addition to painting, poetry, and coaching, I am renewed by philosophy, being a grannie, cycling, x-country skiing, and hosting AirBNB guests from across the oceans.
